Product Models and Variants

This page summarizes the public product models and variants currently present in the ArtiLED February 2026 price list. It is a manual-structure aid, not a replacement for the price list or internal BOM/stock records.

Prices are intentionally not included here. Use this page to decide which model/variant information belongs in public manuals and which details belong in internal build documentation.

Variant conventions

Most ArtiLED products use a Basic / Luxury / Pro style structure.

Variant Typical enclosure / mounting Display and buttons Power supply Manual implication
Basic Steel enclosure, wall mountable Usually no External PSU Public manual should cover wall mounting, external PSU, low-voltage wiring, and installer-safe limits.
Luxury Product-dependent. Hub and Led Computer use aluminium CNC wall-mount variants. Audio/Video-style products use desktop/stereo-wide HiFi-style enclosures. Product-dependent External PSU for Hub/Led Computer; internal PSU for Audio/Video-style products unless stated otherwise Public manual should include a variant table and note the enclosure/power/display differences.
Pro Compute-tier variant using Raspberry Pi 4 or Raspberry Pi 5 instead of Neo Pi. Enclosure/mounting is independent: it may be wall-mount, desktop/stereo-style, or rackmount when the model explicitly says Rackmount. Product-dependent Product-dependent Public manual should separate compute tier from enclosure/mounting. Rack installation and internal-PSU/mains safety apply only to variants that explicitly have rackmount/internal PSU.

Led Computers

Public manual: Led Computer Manual.

Use one public Led Computer manual with variant tables. Internal build docs should split variants/modules where enclosure, PSU, long-range hardware, Phoenix connectors, or Master/Slave build differs.

Manual structure decisions from the price list

  • Keep one public manual per sellable product family.
  • Add model/variant tables to each manual instead of creating separate manuals per channel count.
  • Treat Pro as compute tier (Raspberry Pi 4/5) and Rackmount as enclosure/mounting. Do not assume every Pro is rackmount; e.g. “Pro Basic” can exist.
  • Use separate public manuals for separate product families: Smart Hub, Led Computer, Master Computer, Slave Controller, Audio Processor, Video Processor, Relay Controller, and later Control/Bridge/Blaster as needed.
  • Treat Smart LED Strips, Long Range Products, Solid State Products, and Power Supplies as accessories/modules unless Michel wants public standalone manuals.
  • Internal handover/build docs should be more granular than public manuals and may split by product variant, internal PSU/external PSU, PCB/module, enclosure, or test procedure.

Naming items to review

  • “Luxe” in the price list is Dutch for “Luxury”. Public English manuals should use Luxury, and the Excel price list should be updated to match.
  • “Led” vs “LED” should be standardized in public titles. Michel uses “Led Computer” as product name; keep product name unless he decides otherwise.
  • “Led Controller Slave” in the price list conflicts with the rule that there is no ArtiLED product named LED Controller. Public docs should probably call this Slave Controller or Led Computer Slave Controller after Michel confirms.
  • “Video Processoren Pro 19 Inch” is Dutch/plural in the price list; public manual should use English.
  • “2HE/1HE” may be localized to “2U/1U” for English public manuals, possibly with Dutch/European notation in parentheses if useful.
  • Make the naming hierarchy explicit: Basic/Luxury = enclosure/finish tier; Pro = Raspberry Pi compute tier; Rackmount = physical enclosure/mounting. If a name combines these (for example Pro Basic Long Range Phoenix), preserve it but explain it.
